What are bagasse clamshells made of?
Bagasse is the fibre left after sugarcane is pressed. It is moulded into a rigid box with a hinged lid that snaps shut, so there is no separate lid to order or lose. Bagasse holds hot and greasy food such as burgers and chips. Our bagasse products are certified compostable to EN 13432 and/or OK compost standards. Composting needs the right collection, so check what your waste collector accepts.

Which clamshell fits a burger and fries?
The 9x6 inch. For a burger on its own, the 6 inch is the usual choice.
Can bagasse clamshells take hot, greasy food?
Yes, bagasse holds hot and greasy food such as burgers and chips.
Are your clamshells compostable?
Yes. Our bagasse products are certified compostable to EN 13432 and/or OK compost standards. The lid is hinged to the box, so there is nothing separate to throw away.
How many clamshells come in a carton?
200 to 500 depending on size. The 9x6 inch comes in cartons of 200 or 250.
Do you offer multi-case discounts?
Yes. Buy 3 or more cases in any mix of multi-case products and save 15%, or 10 or more and save 19.25%, applied automatically in the basket.
How fast is delivery?
